Happy Birthday Tressa

My dearest Tressa, you are seven, going on thirty years old!

You weigh 48.4 pounds and are 49 Β½” (4ft. Β½in.) tall. You wear a size 13 shoe and a 6 pant and shirt.

You are definitely one of the most silly seven-year old’s I know! You fart without shame, you know how to laugh at yourself and you make everything a game. You are almost always laughing or making up a joke to make someone else laugh. Even being this playful, funny little girl, you are still a softy at heart. Your feelings are easily hurt and you are always the first to lend a shoulder to someone who is feeling down. Now here’s the tricky part, if I didn’t live with you every day, you’d never know it! Lol You can be such a brat! You definitely don’t like not getting your way and you and your brother fight like enemies! Always calling one another names and beating each other up! I’m basically just the referee.

This year you were Terrific Kid in your class twice! And you were a straight A student! You rock! You lost your library books weekly, so you never made your AR goals. We even ended up paying for two books that you lost this year. :/

There is never a dull moment when you are around! I love that so much about you! Thanks for being an awesome kiddo!

Mommy and Daddy love you so! Happy birthday Tootie!

Happy Birthday Amaya

*So, I’m a little late, but the posts are coming!

You are a seven years old! You are 46.2 lbs. and 49 ΒΌ” (4ft.Β ΒΌin.) tall. You wear a size 13 shoe and a 6 pant and shirt.

It’s amazing how much you have changed in the last year. How much you have matured and grown. Last year you were just a playful, silly little girl. This year, you worry about the small things, you put so much more thought into your answers and you’ve become sensitive. You will cry at the drop of a hat. For instance, at your birthday party, you received COLOR Splasherz. You have asked for this since Christmas. You were super excited! We colored the jewels and you threaded your necklace. While trying to put it on, all the beads fell to the floor. You bawled so much! It broke my heart! I soothed you and you fixed your necklace and tried to put it on, only to have the beads fall to the floor again. And then a third and fourth time! Each time resulting in a break down. You were a wreck! Eventually, I tied a knot on one side, so that it wouldn’t happen again. πŸ˜›

You are so super creative! You are constantly building things with Lego’s and drawing the most detailed, story filled pictures. You spend a lot of your time playing Barbie’s, reading and drawing. You love tea parties, makeup, nail polish and playing dress up.

At school you made terrific kid and you were a straight A student! You were two books away from having read the most in your class. You were one of the two students from your class who scored the most AR points and earned a trip to the zoo! You love to read. You learned to write in cursive this year while I was teaching your brother. You’re pretty good at it. You’ve picked up the juggling sticks again that Kris gave you. You’re getting better all the time.

Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! Happy birthday sweetheart!

You are such a talker! You are cooing and babbling like crazy! (Note to self: Upload those videos!)

IMG_1099-3m

I have lots of pictures of you sleeping lately. πŸ˜› They’re the only ones that don’t come out blurry because you are such a wiggle worm! And you’re just so precious!

IMG_1113-3m

You hold your head unassisted now. You’re getting to be such a big boy! It’s true you know… they grow up fast.

You found your thumb. Unfortunately… I’d rather you take a pacifier, but my attempts have been unsuccessful.

Holy crap! You’re two months old! How did this happen?!?! Soon I’ll be going back to work and having to leave you for hours at a time. Sigh…

388690_10152768601775601_891241888_n-2mI’d swear you were just in my tummy yesterday. It’s so surreal. Your personality is really coming out. You smile now! It’s the cutest thing ever! I love it so much! You look to see where noises are coming from and you recognize certain people like your daddy and your siblings.

IMG_1051-2m

Finally lost your umbilical cord! So you were able to get your first real bath. You loved it. Never fussed a bit. We often call you ‘Little man’, ‘Man’ or ‘Shorty’. You’re awake more during the day, but not for long. You just LOVE your daddy! I’m pretty sure you’re going to be a daddy’s boy. You are always smiling and laughing with him. β™₯

IMG_1684-2m

You still have some baby acne, but it’s improved. You sleep like a champ. Just like your daddy. Sleeping through the night even (Holy engorgement!)! We are still breastfeeding! It’s going so wonderfully. I’m really worried about my supply once I start back to work though. Fortunately, I’m building a freezer stash.

Length: 23Β½ in.

Sizes: Size 2 diapers, 0-3 month and 3-6 month clothes.

Sleep: Like a boss! During the day you wake about every three hours to eat and are sleeping from 10pm to 7am!

Milestones: Your first real smile πŸ™‚ Umbilical cord finally fell off so you got a real bath, breastfeeding for 59 days.
